Are you worth coaching?

Paul Bridle, Leadership Methodologist, discusses the differences between coaching and mentoring, and asks whether you are worth coaching. Dekasu members may find this useful in deciding what kind of career support to seek.
There are no hard and fast definitions of coaching and mentoring, but at Dekasu, we focus on mentoring as a means of self-development. We consider it to refer to a relationship where knowledge and experience are imparted by a more experienced person to a less experienced one, particularly with regard to advancing their career and improving their leadership skills.
