Based in the UK, with a head office in London, Dekasu was set up in early 2009 to offer a new career management service to professionals.

After months of research into the UK recruitment market, we saw a growing need for an online solution that met the professional and personal development requirements of career-oriented individuals. Following this research, we have developed a powerful, free-to-use resource that gives talented professionals a single place in which to record, manage and showcase their career histories and achievements. The service also allows employers to find professionals with exactly the experience they need.

It is our aim to become the career management resource of choice for hardworking, high-achieving professionals. That is why we chose the name Dekasu, the Japanese word meaning 'to accomplish' or 'to achieve'. We feel it neatly captures what our members are all about - hard work, intelligence & focus on reaching their career goals.
